The Village of Hanover Park's Administrative Assistant in the Manager's Office, Sue Krauser, was recently named Vice-Chair of the Northwest Municipal Conference's Local Government Communicators Committee at their meeting on May 18, 2011. 

The Northwest Municipal Conference's Local Government Communicators Committee provides a forum for municipal communications professionals to exchange information pertinent to their positions.  This Committee meets to discuss issues concerning employees responsible for providing public information.  The committee also conducts seminars to discuss communication, marketing techniques and other timely topics.

Sue Krauser became involved with this committee just recently.  "The Communicators group meetings have been very helpful to me in my position.  Hearing how other municipalities communicate with their residents has been quite beneficial to me and has provided me with new ideas and resources that Hanover Park can utilize.  I am honored to serve as Vice-Chair," says Sue Krauser.

The NWMC Communicators Committee meets bi-monthly.  Maura El Metennani from the Village of Mount Prospect currently serves as the Chair.
