On April 13, 2012 the Hanover Park Police Department arrested James Williams 35-years old for delivery of a controlled substance. Officers from the Elgin and Streamwood Police Departments assisted in the arrest of Williams, who was arrested in the 1100 Block of Lake Street in possession of 3 grams of heroin. At the time of the arrest Williams was on parole through the Illinois Department of Corrections, for armed robbery. The DuPage Co. States Attorney’s Office was contacted regarding Williams arrest and approved one count of delivery of a controlled substance, which is a class 1 felony. Williams was then transported to the DuPage County Jail to await a bond hearing on April 13th.
