Shooting Incident Arrest

Cortez Wamble

On April 29, 2010 at 11:12pm, the Hanover Park Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 8100 block of Kingsbury Drive. Officers met with one male and one female victim, whose vehicle had been struck by a bullet fired from another vehicle. Neither individual was injured. An investigation was conducted that led to the arrest of Cortez Wamble, 18, of the 200 block of Shagbark Lane in Streamwood. Wamble had been charged with one count of aggravated discharge of a firearm and is scheduled to appear for a bond hearing at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse on May 4th.

Chief David Webb indicated that he is pleased with the quick resolution to this potentially dangerous incident and praised the Hanover Park Investigative Division for their work on the matter.
