BASSET Class

Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training (BASSET) is a responsible alcohol service training program that is licensed by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission (ILCC).
In Hanover Park, all individuals in Illinois who sell or serve open containers of alcoholic beverages, door security employees who check identification, and cocktail delivery drivers must obtain their BASSET license within 60 days of beginning employment.
The goals of the BASSET program are to reduce alcohol-related incidents and drunk driving fatalities and prevent underage sales of alcohol. BASSET also protects the health, safety, and welfare of travelers on Illinois roadways, underaged minors, and the general Illinois public by requiring training and education on responsible alcohol service. The ILCC approves and licenses all BASSET trainers and training programs.
