Emergency Declaration Ends Aug 6

The Village’s emergency declaration will expire on August 6, 2020, which means the suspension of water shut-off, waiving of late fees, escalation of parking tickets, and citations are ending. Code Enforcement will resume the curb appeal program and cite for ordinance violations as of August 7, 2020.

For water and sewer bills, late fees will resume on the August billing cycle. If current bills are not paid on the due date, which is August 21, a 10% late fee will be added and a termination notice will be issued. Your water will be shut-off only if the total bill is not paid in full or if alternative arrangements have not been made.  Water shut-off will start on the 9th of September, 2020.

If you have any questions or concern with your water and sewer bills, please call water billing at 630-823-5790 or email waterbilling@hpil.org.

Respond Today!

Congratulations Hanover Park on Surpassing the 2010 Census Response Rate

The Village of Hanover Park is proud to announce that on July 31st, the Village's response rate to the 2020 Census rose to 73.6% and surpassed the final response rate for the 2010 Census.

This is a great great news because there are still 3 more months to respond to the census and get Hanover Park closer to a complete count of all residents.

There are many reasons why the census is important but a major funding issue is that the state of Illinois loses $1,400 for every person not counted. This directly effects the quality of life in Hanover Park.

Please complete the 2020 Census online at www.my2020census.gov, by phone, or by mail.
