Ontarioville Plaza Synopsis

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony For New Ontarioville Plaza

On June 23, 2021, Village President Rodney S. Craig and the Hanover Park Village Board announced the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Ontarioville Plaza as part of the new Village Center.

The Village Board envisions an active, vibrant Village Center with diversified land uses including a variety of new housing types, enhanced retail, public spaces and entertainment uses. The recently completed streetscape and Plaza project is intended to ‘jump-start’ development interest, in addition to providing tangible/visible improvements.

The Village of Hanover Park encourages all members of the community and the public to visit and enjoy this new addition to Hanover Park.   To learn more, read here.

The Village's Green Electric Aggregation Program

On May 18, the Village mailed a notice to all residents and small business owners at their ComEd billing address. The program begins with July meter read dates thru July 2022.

When first offered in 2014, following the passage of a November 2012 voter Referendum, the average participating homeowner or small business owner saved $286 on their ComEd bills, for a Village-wide savings over $2 million through summer 2014.

The Village has the option to extend the program for two additional years.   To learn more about the program and how to participate, check here on the Village website.

Nine Questions to Guide You to an Effective Content Marketing Strategy

A content marketing strategy is a plan for building an audience by publishing, maintaining, and distributing frequent and consistent content that educates, entertains, and/or inspires.

With a strategy, the content you produce will turn strangers into frequent website visitors.  Ultimately, these visitors will more likely become customers.  This post by Lynn Ventimiglia-Lobig of diamonddog marketing will provide guidance.  Lynn has presented at our Village BEST sessions and our Small Business Forums.
