2021 Roadway Resurfacing Update

Paving for the resurfacing project is now nearing completion with the final phase of the streets.  The Village’s contractor is on track for completion of construction activities by the October 22 completion date. 

Paving and milling operations are now focusing on the final streets between Schick Rd and Army Trail Rd during this final phase.  As always residents will have access to their street and driveways during the construction progress, however minor delays may occur.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding construction activities, please contact Public Works at 630-823-5700 for additional information

2021 Resurfacing and Water Main
Project

The new water main on Maplewood Ave has been tested and the results meet the Village standards. The Village’s contractor will now work on the water service switch over starting next week. Residents effected by this operation will be notified in advance by Public Works.

In addition, the storm sewer improvements and the saw-cutting of sidewalk and curb and gutter are being conducted at various locations on the project. The residents will see removal and replacement of concrete in the coming weeks. Residents affected by driveway accessibility will be notified in advance.
