2021 Roadway Resurfacing Update

This week the Village’s resurfacing contractor completed milling and level binder on Arlington Dr. and Bartels Rd.  Paving is scheduled to continue next week on these two streets which will conclude the paving for this year's resurfacing project.  Dependent on weather, pavement markings and punch list items will be completed during the coming week.  Residents with parkway restoration areas in front of their residence will need to mow the seeded areas as the grass grows.  The Village and contractor will not be maintaining these areas beyond the initial installation.  
  

2021 Resurfacing and Water Main Project

All the underground and concrete work has been completed on this project. A water main leak detection survey was conducted on Maplewood Avenue and found no leaks. Existing pavement has been milled and ready for resurfacing. Currently, Village’s contractor is working on pavement repairs, driveway apron repairs, and various structure adjustments as a preparation for the paving operation.

Next week, the Village’s contractor will begin construction on final surface pavement and parkway restoration, weather dependent.
