Juneteenth Celebration

The Village of Hanover Park and the Sister Cities Committee are pleased to host a Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ontarioville Plaza, 1931 Ontarioville Road in Hanover Park.

The event is open to the public and admission is free. Join in the fun with live music, DJ, dance demonstration, vendors, food truck, activities for the children and more.

2022 RESURFACING PROJECT 

Construction activity has started with asphalt surface patching on Schick Road, concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter removal on the north portion of the project. 

As a part of this project, 34 street sections will be improved. These improvements will include various storm sewer improvements, spot drainage improvements (e.g., curb and gutter replacement), spot sidewalk removal and replacement to meet the current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, pavement patching, removal and replacement of the existing asphalt surface, pavement markings, and necessary restoration. 

The public will have access to the streets during construction however, minor delays may occur.? Some residents may also lose access to their driveway temporarily when concrete work is performed.
