At 8:15pm, we will transition from the picnic to Movie in the Park. "Space Jam: A New Legacy" will be shown on the big screen so bring your blankets and chairs to sit on the lawn. The Hanover Park Parks Foundation will sell popcorn and beverages at a nominal cost to benefit their foundation, which helps underprivileged kids access recreational opportunities. 2022 Infrastructure Improvement Project
Water main installation is progressing along Northway Drive this week with a milestone set with the crossing of Yorkshire Drive marking approximately one-third of mainline pipe completed. Additional water main crews are continuing installation on Church Street between Sycamore Ave and Laurel Ave. Spot curb and gutter replacement and sidewalk replacement are nearing completion on Briarwood Avenue, Mulberry Lane, Linden Avenue, Poplar Avenue, and Redwood Avenue. Residents on Beverly Circle and Bedford Court will see water main crews starting on their streets this week as well.
With any construction project, residents on the affected streets may notice colored flags in the parkway along their street and paint marks along the curb and sidewalk. We ask residents to leave the flags in place during construction as these mark underground utilities for the contractor.
For the duration of the project, residents will retain access to their street and driveway though minor delays may occur. If you have any questions regarding construction activities, please contact Public Works at 630-823-5700 for additional information.
A map of Village streets being improved during the 2022 season is available on our website.

2022 Resurfacing Project UpdateParkway restoration, which includes new topsoil, grass seed, fertilizer, and erosion control blanket has been completed. Rain will handle most of the watering, but the new grass can be sensitive in its first year of growth. Residents are encouraged to water and help the grass grow throughout the season. Driveway repairs are underway and should be completed this week. The union strike at the quarries in the area is over and the Village expects pavement improvements to begin mid-August.
The public will have access to the streets during construction; however, minor delays may occur. If you have any questions or concerns regarding construction activities, please contact Public Works at 630-823-5700 for additional information.
