Hanover Park Announces Child Passenger Safety Week Results

Hanover Park, Illinois- The Hanover Park Police Department made 192 traffic stops and issued more than 107 citations including 3 child safety seat and 7 seat belt citations during its Child Passenger Safety Week enforcement campaign Sept.18-24.
- 14 no valid/suspended/revoked licenses
- 7 uninsured motorists
- 11 speeding citations
- 3 distracted driving citations
- 2 arrests for impaired driving
The Hanover Park Police Department joined forces with more than 200 other local law enforcement agencies to increase awareness of proper child safety seat use and encourage all motorists to buckle up. The effort featured high-visibility enforcement combined with a variety of outreach activities, including a media campaign.
