Police Department Reports Record Low Part 1 Crime Rate

The Hanover Park Police Department is proud to report that the 2022 Part I crime recorded total is the lowest in Village history. Part I Crime is the benchmark used by the FBI to determine crime rates in cities and villages.

Overall, 234 Part I Crimes were recorded in 2022 versus 236 in 2021.  This follows a 22% drop experienced from 2020 to 2021, resulting in the previous all-time low.

Mayor Craig's 2023 State of Village Address

Mayor Craig will highlight what took place in the Village of Hanover Park 2022 and what is in store for the Village in 2023.
