Hanover Park Police announces St. Patrick’s Day campaign results
Hanover Park, IL – The Hanover Park Police Department conducted more than 350 traffic stops resulting in 3 impaired driving arrests and issued more than 216 citations during the St. Patrick’s Day campaign including:
• 21 suspended/revoked/no valid license
• 16 uninsured motorists
• 49 speeding citations
• 8 distracted driving related citations
• 10 seat belt/child passenger seat citations
“We strongly enforce traffic laws for one reason – to save lives,” said Deputy Chief Victor DiVito.
The Hanover Park Police Department joined forces with state and local law enforcement and highway safety partners in the St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign.
The St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
