2023 Resurfacing Project
The installation of the new concrete should be completed this week on all streets in the project. Pavement milling has started in preparation for placing the new asphalt surface pavement on Whitebridge Ln., Birch Ave., Spruce Ave., and Highland St. Paving on these streets is expected to take place next week. Restoration will be performed after the pavement installation is completed. For a location map, please visit our website. As a part of this project, 41 street sections are being improved (approximately 7.16 miles). The work includes various spot drainage improvements (e.g., curb and gutter replacement), spot sidewalk removal and replacement to meet the current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, pavement patching, removal and replacement of the existing asphalt surface, pavement markings, and necessary restoration. The public will have access to the streets during construction; however, minor delays may occur. If you have any questions or concerns regarding construction activities, please contact Public Works at 630-823-5700 for additional information.
