Coming soon

Check Out What's Coming to Hanover Park

Several new developments are in progress and coming soon!

Here's a few new developments that are underway:

  • Shepard’s Academy Daycare: The Village has received an application for a daycare facility to be built at the northwest corner of Lake St. and Center Ave, across the street from Village Hall. The daycare will be open from 8am to 6pm and care for children aged 3 months to 8 years old. This location is subject to our new Village Center Zoning Code and is requesting Design Exceptions.
  • 80-unit Luxury Townhome Development: An upscale townhome development is seeking approvals in order to be able to begin construction at the northwest corner of Lake and Church St. These luxury units have modern architecture and will feature two-car garages, pocket parks, green space, and walking paths.
  • Elm Ave. Resubdivision: Two vacant lots across from Ontarioville Elementary School are requesting approvals to rotate the two lots to now front Center, rather than Elm Ave. The developer will be able to build single-family homes similar to the new homes recently built in that area.
  • Center Ave. Subdivision: The lot at 6900 Center Ave will be subdivided in two lots, allowing for a single-family home to be built on the new lot south of the existing home.

If you have any questions, call the Community & Economic Development department. We can provide efficient, confidential help with site/space selection, area resources, and information on permitting procedures.  Call 630-823-5780 or email CDevelopment@hpil.org
