Comprehensive Plan Outreach On Tuesday, May 13th, a Community Visioning Workshop was held at Village Hall. Residents were invited to participate in a mapping exercise to help plan for the Village's future. Topics included housing, commercial business, transportation, pedestrian walkways and more! We thank all who attended! Were you unable to attend the workshop? You can still provide your feedback! Construction Updates Construction season is officially here! Check back here weekly for status updates. Arlington Drive Bridge Replacement Update: AT&T is in the process of relocating their utilities off of the bridge. Bridge demolition will begin the week of May 26th. Schick Road Resurfacing Update: Crews finished pavement patching and installing the first layer of asphalt. Next week, crews will place the final layer of asphalt surface and complete pavement striping. 2025 Resurfacing Project Update: Milling of the asphalt pavement began on Turnberry Court, Yorkshire, and adjacent cul-de-sacs. Crews will complete pavement patching and place the first layer of asphalt next week. 2025 Hydrant Sandblasting and Painting Update: The contractor sandblasted, primed, and painted about 160 hydrants and anticipates having the project complete by the end of this week. Hanover Park Park District - Grand Splash Bash at Seafari SpringsGet ready to dive into fun! Join the Park District on June 7 to kick off the 2025 season at Seafari Springs Aquatic Center. It is going to be an exciting day for the whole family with plenty of activities, goodie bags for the first 200 kids, and great memories to make. The event will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
