Wild Robot - Movie in the Park June 20

Join Us Tonight for Movie in the Park!

Our first Movie in the Park for 2025 is tonight. Come out and enjoy the movie, Wild Robot, in East Harbor Park. The games & activities begin at 7:45 PM. The movie will begin at dusk. The Hanover Park Lions Club will be selling popcorn and refreshments. We hope to see you there!
Juneteenth Celebration Flyer

Juneteenth Celebration this Saturday!

Join us for the Juneteenth Celebration hosted by the Village of Hanover Park's Sister Cities Committee this Saturday, June 21st from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event will take place at the Hanover Park Sports Complex, located at 1200 Sycamore Ave. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free! Enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, and games. Don't miss out on this community event!
Ride the Wave to Hanover Park This Summer!

Ride the Wave to Hanover Park Next Tuesday! 

Join the Village of Hanover Park next Tuesday, June 24th for the unveiling of our ukiyo-e style mural created by Naperville artist Rich Lo! 

This event begins at 5:30PM at Ontarioville Plaza and includes a traditional Japanese drumming performance and demonstrative lecture with classical dance. Food and drinks from Zen Ramen will be available for purchase! 

The Village of Hanover Park takes pride in being America’s Global Village, and we are thrilled to act as a community partner with College of DuPage’s Cleve Carne Museum of Art to promote the “Hokusai and Ukiyo-e: the Floating World” exhibit. The Village has partnered with the Schaumburg Township District Library - Hanover Park Branch and the Hanover Park Park District this summer to host events celebrating this exhibit! 
No Mosquitos

Mosquito Control Application June 24

Clarke will be performing an adult mosquito control application in both Bloomingdale and Wayne Townships in the evening on Tuesday, June 24th, weather conditions permitting. This will be the first application of the season.
2025 Construction Projects

Construction Updates 

Construction season is officially here! Check back here weekly for status updates. If you have any project questions, contact Engineering at 630-823-5700 or visit www.hpil.org/1234/current-projects.

Schick Road Resurfacing Update: The project is substantially complete, with only punch list work remaining, which is expected to be completed in the upcoming weeks.   

2025 Resurfacing Project Update: The contractor continued the various sidewalk, curb, and gutter repairs. This work is expected to continue for the next couple of weeks.

County Farm Road Sidewalk (DuPage County DOT): DuPage County is installing sidewalk on the west side of County Farm Road from Lawrence Avenue to Stairway Drive. Daily lane closures are anticipated during this work.  

Arlington Drive Bridge Replacement Update: Demolition of the bridge will continue into next week. Crews have begun installing the bypass channel and will start installing the cofferdam next week. Detour signs are posted. Below is a map of the detour routes.
