Summer Soiree

is Saturday, Aug. 16th @ 5-10pm

FREE parking in the Metra lot

Join us for the 2nd annual Summer Soirée on Saturday, August 16th at Ontarioville Park at 1900 Ontarioville Road (behind the Metra station). This year's theme - Disco! Get ready to dance the night away while enjoying live music! The laser light show will immediately follow the final band. Food trucks, beer, and wine will be available for purchase (valid ID will be required to purchase alcohol).

Disco attire is encouraged! All ages are welcome. Bring your lawn chairs & blankets.

Here is the line-up for this year's event:

Starlight City @ 5:30pm to 7:15pm
The Disco Circus @ 8:00pm - 9:45pm
Laser Light Show @ 9:50pm

Attend the Park District's 2025 Fall Fun Fest with

the Flavors of Hanover Park

Saturday, September 6th @ 2 - 8pm

Enjoy a warm late summer afternoon at the Fall Fun Fest at Community Park, 1919 Walnut Avenue. Family-oriented activities include:

hayrides on the tractor
inflatable bouncy houses
face painting
balloon artists
fall-themed crafts
games
food vendors (some may accept cash only)
live music with 2 bands

New Developments!

Building a Bright Future in Our Village Center with New Projects

Several new development projects have recently been approved that promise to bring new opportunities to our growing Village Center. These developments will introduce a variety of housing options that will not only meet the needs of residents at every stage of life , but it will bring even more business interest to our Village!

More than just adding housing, these projects are expected to serve as a catalyst for revitalizing our downtown area. Bringing more people into the heart of our Village will help support local businesses, attract new retail and dining options, and create a more vibrant, walkable, and connected community.

Check out “Development Updates” at the bottom left of the Village’s website (www.hpil.org/933) to stay tuned regarding new developments as we move forward in shaping a dynamic and inclusive future for Hanover Park! Here are some recently approved developments for the Village Center:

80 luxury townhomes at the NW corner of Church and Lake Street 2250 sq ft luxury townhome units with 2-car garages, a plaza and many pocket parks. Groundbreaking coming soon!
Redevelopment of South Metra Commuter Lot: "Hanover Park Reserve" Luxury apartments (studio, one, and two-bedroom units) with many resident amenities including a pool, fitness center, community rooms, dog wash station, DIY room, and a business center. Public amenities will include a redesigned plaza at the Metra station, a new “Kiss & Ride” drop off area in front of the train station, a new plaza and pedestrian connection from the north. Final plans are being developed.
NWC Lake & Barrington: Luxury apartments (studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments) with walk-in closets and laundry in each unit, bike and walking paths. Some units will include garages on the first level. Resident amenities include large balconies, pool, fitness room, community room, and more.
Chipotle: Under construction, on Lake Street across from the Metra train station. Opening this fall!
