Join Us for COPS Day Tonight! 

Join the Hanover Park Police Department tonight for our annual COPS Day Picnic. The picnic begins at 5:00PM and will be held at the Hanover Park Park District, 1919 Walnut Avenue.

Picnic attractions include an emergency vehicle car show and touch-a-truck, a police canine demonstration, games, face painting, music, and a Resource Fair with numerous social services agencies in attendance. 

Hanover Park Police Administration will be cooking and serving hot dogs, chips, and lemonade, which are free to all attendees. This year, attendees will also have the option to purchase food from two food trucks and The Milkhouse Ice Cream Truck in addition to Kernel Dan's Popcorn and Kona Ice. There will be a raffle to raise money for the Shop with a Cop program benefiting children who need a little help in boosting their holiday joy.

Don't forget to stay after the picnic for the Movie in the Park. This year's movie is Dog Man!

Arlington Drive Bridge Replacement Update: Crews continued the demolition of the existing bridge, which will continue into next week. Additionally, next week crews will also begin dewatering to facilitate excavation for the new culverts.

Schick Road Resurfacing Update: The punch list is expected to be completed in the upcoming weeks.   

2025 Resurfacing Project Update: Restoration work is ongoing and is expected to be completed within the next few weeks. 

2025 Watermain Replacement Update: The Village’s contractor has begun installing the new watermain on Andover Drive W, near Arlington Drive, and will continue working towards Deerfield Court.

Fiber Installation (AT&T): AT&T has a number of fiber installation projects throughout the Village. Any questions or concerns about these projects should be directed to AT&T at 800-843-6581.

County Farm Road Sidewalk (DuPage County DOT): DuPage County has completed the installation of the sidewalk on the west side of County Farm Road, from Lawrence Avenue to Stairway Drive, as well as a majority of the restoration. There are a few areas that required substantial regrading that will be temporarily restored. Final restoration in these areas will be completed in the Fall.

Save the Date for Summer Soirée with a Disco Beat! 

Our 2nd annual Summer Soirée is only a month away! This year's theme is Disco! Come out and enjoy live music, food trucks, beer/wine, and the return of the laser light show! This year's event is Saturday, August 16th at Ontarioville Park. 

Bands include Starlight City from 5:30pm to 7:15pm and The Disco Circus 8:00pm to 9:45pm. The laser light show will begin shortly after. Free parking will be in the Metra lot.

Ride the Wave to Hanover Park! 

The Village is a community partner to promote the College of DuPage's Cleve Carney Museum of Art's "Hokusai and Ukiyo-e: the Floating World" exhibit.

As a Community Partner, Hanover Park residents have the opportunity to redeem a special ticket offer. When purchasing your tickets, use code "PARTNER1" to receive a Buy One, Get One Free deal. Don't forget to stop by Village Hall this summer to check out our mural, as well as depictions of Hokusai's art on the building's windows. This mural was created by local Naperville artist, Rich Lo.
