Fire Department Open House

On October 6th, bring the whole family to the Fire Department Open House which allows residents an opportunity to see a demonstration of various equipment in the Fire Department, as well as receive information on fire prevention. YOUR KIDS WILL LOVE IT!

SECOND PAINT & SIP ADDED
Only $15 at Corks & Crafts

Due to popular demand, the Village has added a second Paint & Sip class from 2pm to 3:30pm at the Corks & Crafts festival on September 29 at Ontarioville Park, 1900 Ontarioville Road. STILL ONLY $15. Register here!

Corks & Crafts will also feature Arts & Crafts and some area food trucks and vendors. Music by the Thompson Duo and The Moods. The event will take place at Ontarioville Park in the Hanover Park Historic District at 1900 Ontarioville from 11am to 4pm.

Brush Pick Up Program in October

The Brush Pick Up Program provides free curbside pickup and chipping of branches which is then recycled as mulch. This program produces mulch which is made available to Village residents for use around shrubs and flower beds. Brush is picked up in April, July and October. Do not put brush out after 7:00 am on the first day of the collection cycle. Branches with a minimum of two (2) feet in length and a maximum of ten (10) feet in length and less than eight (8) inches in diameter will be collected.

Hiring Event at Education & Work Center

BrightView Landscape Services will be holding two hiring events at the Education and Work Center on the following dates:

October 4, 2018 from 9 am to 11 am
October 10, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm

BrightView is hiring for Snow Equipment Operators, Snow Shovelers, Crew Members and Irrigation Technicians.
