Hanover Park Police Investigating Fatal Crash

Hanover Park, IL- On Saturday, January 12^th, 2019 at approximately 7:30 a.m., Hanover Park Police Officers were called to the area of County Farm Rd north of Lawrence Ave. for a report of a vehicle crash involving a head-on collision.  Upon arrival, officers discovered a northbound silver Subaru Impreza being driven by an 18-year-old Streamwood man had struck a southbound red Kia Soul being driven by a 35-year-old Carol Stream resident and his 12-year-old son.  All three subjects suffered multiple injuries in the crash and were transported to local hospitals.  The driver of the Kia was later pronounced deceased at St. Alexius Medical Center Hoffman Estates. 
 
The crash is being investigated by the Hanover Park Police Department with the assistance of the DuPage Crash Accident Reconstruction Task Force. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
