If you’re a small business owner just starting out or you’ve been in business for a while, you’re likely wearing multiple hats. From hiring your first employee to opening a second location, SBA's resource partners can help you along the way. The SBA works with local partners to counsel, mentor, and train small businesses.

US Department of Labor Announces Proposed Rule on Overtime Pay

On March 28, 2019, the U.S. Department of Labor (Department) announced a proposed rule to amend 29 CFR part 778 to clarify and update regular rate requirements under section 7(e) of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
