  1. Development Commission- Regular Meeting

    May 13, 2021, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Board Room- 214 Hanover Park Village Hall

    The Hanover Park Development Commission is a citizen commission that makes recommendations to the Village president and the board of trustees. The Commission utilizes the Village’s Comprehensive Plan recommendations to provide long-term policy direction. It conducts public hearings on all petitions for zoning variations, special uses, planned unit developments, rezonings (zoning map amendments), and text amendments. All meetings are open to the public.

  2. Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS)

    May 15, 2021, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    This course is designed to teach the skills of CPR to victims of all ages (including ventilation with a protective barrier device, the use of an AED, the use of a bag valve mask, and foreign-body airway obstruction). This class is intended for Healthcare professionals that work both in and out of a hospital setting, EMT students, nursing school students, childcare/daycare facility employees and DCFS participants. This class meets the requirements set by the American Heart Association, and is required to maintain most Professional Medical Licenses.

  3. Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee Meeting

    The Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee fosters and promotes understanding, mutual respect, cooperation, and positive relations between and among all residents of the Village by creating a sense of shared community among residents and affirming the value of each resident. As an advisory committee to the Village President and Board of Trustees, the goals of the Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee are to: Promote social harmony in the Village and to help deter through educational and action programs prejudice, discrimination, and intolerance, and Promote community involvement, partnerships, and initiates by conducting educational or informational programs to address the cultural diversity within the Village, and Identify cultural and social service needs of the residents of the Village and to work with existing entities to address these needs in the most meaningful way.

  4. Village Board Meeting

    May 20, 2021, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Hanover Park Village Hall

    The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. and continue until the agenda is completed. Regularly scheduled meetings are the first and third Thursday of each month. All meetings are open to the public. Residents can address the Village Board with questions or concerns on issues not on the published agenda during the Townhall portion of the meeting. Residents who wish to address the Village Board during the Townhall Session must register with the Village Clerk prior to the start of the meeting. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Online Comment Available for Village Board Meetings During Virtual Meetings is available. If you would like to comment online at the Town Hall session while the Village Board continues with a virtual meeting format, please submit your comments online at: www.hpil.org/publiccomment

  5. MLK Build Up Day

    Join us as DuPage Habitat for Humanity partners with Hanover Park’s Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee to continue Martin Luther King Jr’s legacy of volunteerism. Together we will make an impact by painting fences and cleaning up the neighborhood. All activities will take place outdoors, following social distance guidelines. Ages 10+ welcome.   6. Historic Committee

    May 25, 2021, 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM @ Hanover Park Village Hall

    The purpose of the Historical Committee is to promote educational, cultural, economic and general welfare of the community by ensuring the preservation of structures and properties that represent the cultural heritage of the Village of Hanover Park and of the community prior to the Village's incorporation. Projects include scanning of historic photo's, organizing of historic materials and artifacts and maintenance of two historic cemeteries and documentation of plots, including mapping.

  8. Virtual Memorial Day Event

    May 31, 2021, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Hanover Park Village Hall

    The Hanover Park Veterans Committee will be holding a Memorial Day Observance through Facebook Live. This event is being held in honor of our Veterans and to remember those who have lost their lives while serving our country. Due to COVID-19, this event will not be open to the public.
