FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT REQUESTS

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) provides for the public to gain access to government records. Any person who wishes to inspect and/or obtain copies of public records from the Village of Hanover Park may submit a written FOIA request. 

CONTRACTS

All contracts and agreements over an amount of $20,000 that are approved by the Village Board are available to the public upon final execution. 

MUNICIPAL CODE

The Municipal Code of Ordinances is available online. Newly adopted ordinances amending the code are listed in the initial content page and are codified throughout the year. A paper copy of the book of ordinances is also available in at the Office of Village Clerk Kristy Merrill.

BIDS, RFPS, RFQS

Information regarding open bids and result tabulations, as well as, open Requests for Proposals RFPs and Request for Quotes RFQs. 

FORECLOSURE NOTICES AND CONFIRMATIONS

llinois State Public Act 96-0856 requires banks and lenders to notify the municipality in the event that a residential property will be undergoing foreclosure proceedings. Lenders must also notify the municipality of the confirmation order at the end of the court proceedings.
