Tree Trimming
Please call the Public Works Department to request service for trimming branches that are blocking a sidewalk or street sign.The Village also contracts for trimming parkway trees in specific areas each year. You may also contact this department If you have a question about how to care for trees or the contractual tree trimming program.
Wood Chips Available
Residents can call the Village for free wood chips. The chips are a by-product of the Village's Brush Pickup program and may vary in size and composition. Leaves, evergreen needles, and wood chips of varying sizes will likely be part of every load, so we ask that you take a look at the chips at the rear of the Public Works facility prior to placing an order. Each load of chips is approximately four cubic feet. That is enough to fill an area six feet by six feet by three feet high. The Public Works Department will deliver the wood chips on your driveway only, not on driveway aprons, sidewalks, or lawns.
