(Ver este documento en español)

Residents must sign up for water service before moving into residence. All residents moving must notify the Village of their moving date and forwarding address prior to their move.

Water bills are issued on the 1st day of the month, with payment due on the 21st day of the month. If payment is not received by the initial due date a late charge equal to 10% will be added to the balance. **Failure to receive a bill does not excuse the penalty charge.**

If a bill remains unpaid, after the 34th day, a $50.00 fee will be added and the service will be inactivated without further notice. Payment of all outstanding account charges is required prior to restoring service. Payments received after 3:00 pm may result in up to 24 hours to have the service reinstated. Step by Step Water Termination Process

**Option for after-hours water turn on is available for $100.00 fee.**

There must be someone age 18 or older in the residence for water to be turned on or a waiver must be signed by the property owner. A fee of $50.00 will be charged for no show to appointments, water reactivation and/or water turn on.

Water usage is billed at $10.21 for each 1,000 gallons used.

In addition, there is a monthly Infrastructure Service Charge for infrastructure maintenance based off the size of your meter.

Infrastructure Service Charge:

  • 3/4-inch meter and less - $21.58 per month
  • 1-inch meter - $38.41 per month
  • 1.5-inch meter - $86.31 per month
  • 2-inch meter - $153.42 per month
  • 3-inch meter - $345.25 per month

Sewer charges vary, depending on whether the address is located in Cook County or DuPage County. Cook County residents pay a sewer charge to the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District on their property tax bills, while DuPage County residents submit their total payment to the Village who provides the service.

Cook County residents are billed $2.26 for each 1,000 gallons of water used.

DuPage County residents are charged $6.08 for each 1,000 gallons of water used.
