Solar and Energy Efficiency
Smart Energy Design Assistance Center (SEDAC)
SEDAC provides technical assistance to help building managers, owners, and administrators make their facilities more energy efficient. Through phone calls, emails, face-to-face consultations, site visits, and reports, they provide recommendations that are adoptable, affordable, and tailored to the needs of our clients. They offer economic analysis and financing guidance to help our clients develop strategies to implement our recommendations.
They also periodically offer workshops and webinars to educate building managers about the latest energy efficiency strategies for their facilities.

C-PACE is an innovative program that enables commercial property owners to obtain 100% long-term, fixed-rate financing for energy efficiency, renewable energy, resiliency, water use and electric vehicle charging building improvements. Cook County commercial property owners can receive funding for their projects from qualified Capital Providers.
ELEVATE ENERGY
We all want our businesses to be comfortable while still keeping our energy costs affordable. However, most buildings waste a significant amount of energy, resulting in discomfort and high bills. The Village of Hanover Park is continually looking for ways to assist residents and businesses to live sustainably. Local nonprofit Elevate Energy helps connect businesses and homeowners with low- or no-cost energy assessments to help them find ways to be more energy efficient.
Additionally, the State's “Illinois Solar for All” program funds nonprofits to encourage solar projects. Elevate Energy is part of this program. In addition to energy efficiency, Elevate Energy can help connect homeowners, businesses, and non-profits with state incentives to make solar installations more affordable.
Elevate Energy is a nonprofit organization that designs and implements programs that reduce costs, protect people and the environment, and ensure the benefits of clean and efficient energy use reach those who need them most. For more information, visit their website at ElevateNP.org.
